Caput XIV: Et incarnatus est de Spiritu Sancto ex Maria Virgine, et homo factus est.
Caput XV: Crucifixus etiam pro nobis sub Pontio Pilato, passus, et sepultus est.
Caput XVI: Et resurrexit tertia die secundum Scripturas.
And on the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures.
Behold the fifth article, which pertains to the resurrection of Christ. By this the opinion of the Jews is refuted, who say that he was taken away by the disciples. "According to the Scriptures," that is, just as it had been foretold in the old law by the prophets and by others. The same is contained in the other symbol, where it is said: "on the third day he rose from the dead," that is, whereas before he was of the number of the dead, by the resurrection he ceased to be of their number.
