Bartolomeo Barbieri (1615–1697), called da Castelvetro after his birthplace, was an Italian Capuchin. He taught the young friars of his order for some fifty years.

Out of that teaching came two complete courses written *ad mentem S. Bonaventurae*: a course of philosophy (1677) and a course of theology (1687). Beside Gaudenzio Bontempi's *Palladium* and Marcel of Riez's *Summa seraphica*, they gave the Capuchins Bonaventure in the scholastic form of the day.
